Thermal Structures
This focus area involves research knowledge, capabilities, and practices for designing, developing, analyzing, and validating thermal-structural concepts for aerospace systems that are subjected to extreme operational environments. This area also involves developing design technology for thermal-structures applications and for multi-scale optimization of metallic materials, structures, and fabrication processes.
