Systems Engineering

Systems engineering requires knowledge, capabilities to define, develop, integrate, and verify new or existing systems from end-to-end. The objective of this research is to optimize performance, safety and mission objectives. Work may require performing feasibility assessments, functional analysis, and/or developing or analyzing integrated schematics. NASA engineers in this field assume a breadth of knowledge of many specialty areas and a detailed understanding of how the pieces fit together.
