Electrical and Electronic Systems

Researchers in electrical and electronic systems practice engineering design and analysis, development and research of electrical systems and components for air, space and ground systems and instruments. This research area includes knowledge of analog and digital electrical systems engineering, avionics, EEE parts, electronic packaging design and tools, reliability and environmental effects, power generation, distribution, storage and conditioning systems. Researchers also practice thermal analysis of printed circuit boards to analyze data and to optimize design of flight electronics in respect to electrical and electronic systems.
