Earth Science Applications Research
The use and knowledge of Earth systems and measurement technologies for designing research into Earth Science disciplines that have the objective of improving the quality of life on Earth and the longevity of the planet. Research in this area is applied to such subjects as resource and disaster management, environmental assessment, human health and safety, food and fiber, infrastructure planning, and environmental quality.
