Welcome

The Undergraduate Student Research Program (USRP) has been discontinued as a result of National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) budgetary reductions. Students may apply via NASA’s One Stop Shopping Initiative (OSSI) at https://intern.nasa.gov for all NASA Internships. NASA Internships provide a single pathway for diverse and highly qualified high school, undergraduate and graduate students from a broad cross-section of academic institutions to engage in scientific, engineering, and professional internships at NASA Centers and facilities.

Universities Space Research Association (USRA) was awarded the NASA Internships Cooperative Agreement to administer internships for the Agency. USRA joins NASA and the Nation to increase the country’s diverse science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) workforce through a shared vision for hands-on immersive educational experiences. USRA and NASA will prepare the next generation to meet the Nation’s STEM workforce needs through collaboration and partnerships with academic and research organizations. USRA brings over four decades of experience managing NASA educational programs and is a leader in administering educational opportunities for students and teachers that successfully pipelines STEM and business students into employment with NASA, industry, and other agencies.
